Book Abstract:
Divination wizard Sairgor "Raven-Eye" has been selected to serve as the King’s personal seer. The tensions in Evaria are growing; there are whispers of war, and more than ever the King seeks magical insight into the future. As the King's right hand, Sairgor's only goal is to avoid conflict, but unknown to him are the forces beyond the Material Plane who would foster chaos. Beginning decades ago when Sairgor's eye was stolen as a child, a cosmic plot comes to bear fruit in the present. Sairgor now finds himself in the midst of a conspiracy that will decide the fate of his kingdom... and all others.

Detail Shot. The world is a mixture of technology & magic; Sairgor wears an eyepiece to cover his empty socket. Though he is blind in one eye, when he uses divination magic the eyepiece lifts up, and he can see magically into the future.
